Babyliss curl secret styler for curly / wavey hair

Hey everyone!

I just uploaded a youtube video using the Babyliss secret curl styler. I'm not sure if I did it right, it didn't look anything like the pretty blonde lady's hair on the advert, so I think I need to practise a bit more with it but at least my partner said he likes my hair and he never compliments me on my hair!!  =-O

I paid £108 for this when it was on offer in boots but I think it's originally £120

Old pictures, baby Dylan and puppy love

Awww feeling broody, I just added 69 pictures to my facebook page, mainly of when Dylan was a newborn baby in 2012. The time has gone by so quickly and he's already a little chatterbox 2 year old just like his sister!! I wish I had more photos of Charlie but he's so camera shy =-(

https://www.facebook.com/krazykirstybrowne

I always said I wanted 4 kids but when I had 3 I was like THAT'S ENOUGH but looking back at the pictures makes me want hundreds of babies!!

I've always wanted a puppy too, I was watching episode 3 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey earlier when the Giudice family get a puppy for Christmas, it was so sweet watching the girls reactions when they heard the puppy barking in the other room, I actually cried it was so cute! When I was younger all I wanted was a dog, for years I begged my mum but she always said NO ='(

As a young girl I remember watching Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher, OMG I wanted a dog just like Gnasher sooooooooo badly. I've had lots of pets, especially guinea pigs, but they just aren't the same as a puppy that you can snuggle up to, take it for walkies, teach it to sit, roll over and fetch etc. To this day I would still love to have a dog, but where I live you are not allowed to have pets so unless I get a house one day, my wish is never going to come true =-( BUT I think the main reason I always wanted a dog was because they love you unconditionally and I always wanted that companionship that people have with their dogs, now I have my babies, that filled up the huge empty space I had in my heart but I would love to have a dog so much! I think I'm actually broody to have a dog not another baby lol!

Cutting, layering and feathering my hair & adding a side fringe using a crea clip and clippers. John Frieda go blonder lightening spray review

Helloooo!!

So I've done a video showing you how I cut my hair using clippers and a crea clip, it's very quick and easy to do. I paid £10 for my crea clips (long and shorter one) I got them like 4 years ago from Amazon, I can't find a link to them to share with you where it costs £10 and I couldn't find any cheap ones on ebay or Amazon but on the crea clip website it costs $29.99.

I have damaged my hair quite badly from using the John Frieda Sheer Blonde go blonde lightening spray. I feel bad for dissing a product but if anyones looking it up for reviews then I'd say stay away from it because it doesn't really make any difference to your hair colour, on natural blonde hair or light brown hair. The only time I noticed a difference was when I had very dark brown hair almost black last year, I used this all over and it did lighten it up a little bit but it had a reddish tint to it. It's very drying to your hair and it makes your hair quite greasy looking. After a few days I noticed the top of my hair at the roots where I had been using it, the hairs were very short and just standing up because it wasn't long enough to lay flat, my hair had terrible split ends, when I brush it, little bits just break of the ends, so now I have very uneven hair and it looks awfully damaged. So please don't make the same mistake as me, if you are trying to grow out your hair and want long healthy hair, please don't damage it by using this, it is the devil in a yellow bottle!

UPDATE- It has been 7 months since I last used the John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Spray and my hair is still damaged at the crown area where I mainly sprayed the product to lighten my roots. Today I had to cut off the remaining 2 inches off damaged hair so now I have 3 inch long hair at the crown but at least the damaged parts have been cut off now, they were getting so matted up and loads of split ends going up the shaft of the hair so I didn't want it travelling up the shaft of the healthy hair so I thought it was best to just cut it all off and now I wish I did that sooner! I really regret ever using that stuff! - 26/05/15

The underneath of my hair and the back where I havn't used this product is quite healthy and smooth and doesn't look like a brillo pad when I wake up unlike the top and front of my hair which is where I've been using this product.

I don't think these photos show how bad my hair actually is!

I've been trying to grow my hair for so long but because I used to dye it a lot it's never been too healthy looking but once I used that John Frieda lightening spray it just made it 100 times worse and when I wake up in the morning this is how it looks!

So in the hair cutting video, I've just trimmed the length and layers, I was planning on cutting it to a  midway neck length bob but I'd rather wait til the shorter layers are at that length so all the hair is an even length, as my hair grows soooooooo slowly it's probably going to take a year for my short layers to get to half way down my neck but I'm probably going to keep trimming just so the breakage doesn't travel up the hair shaft which will just make it worse and the damage will never go away unless I cut it all short now to get rid of it all but I made that mistake nearly 4 years ago when I completely shaved my hair off so I was completely bald just because it was soooooooo badly damaged, I kept cutting it shorter and shorter but it still looked terrible and frizzy so in the end I was like, Right i'm just gonna shave it off and start again and i'll never dye it again! (that lasted for 3 weeks before I was putting blonde hair dye on my 5mm spikey hair loool) it's taken me all this time to get it to this length so I don't want to start from the beginning again, so i'll be trimming every month til it's healthy again and then I can grow long hair and change my name to Rapunzel!!

I'm always getting the itch to dye my hair, I just love changing the colour, usually blonde to brown , then to black, then to blonde ugh it's silly but I just love dying my hair lol! Even though I reeeeeeally want to go blonde again ( and then the next day i'm like no actually I want to go dark brown!) but this time I really am going to just let my natural hair grow out, I havn't had natural hair since I was 11 when I first dyed it blonde and even though my roots are hardly visible, this is actually the longest I've gone without dying it! And it would be nice to have my hair naturally light brown before I start going grey which I reckon will be pretty soon arghhhhhhh!!!!

Earring collection

So a while ago I got into earrings, I went on Amazon and ebay, typed in earrings, sorted by the cheapest first and OMG they have so many pretty designs for less than a pound! So I have ordered so many, even though that was weeeeeks ago I still havn't received most of them in the mail because they are from Honk Kong, I admit the quality isn't that great and they are a bit chunky, but what do I expect for a 79p pair of earrings! So with all of these glitzy new earrings coming in the post I needed an earring stand so I ordered this from ebay, here is the link to it............. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310149540851?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It's supposed to hold 256 pairs of earrings, once again it's a bit flimsy and knocks over so easily and then the earrings fall from it grrrr but if you extend it out it will probably be sturdier but I just have it standing straight and all closed because I havn't even filled one side up yet!

I got these earrings the other day, so pretty and Christmassy!!

Here's the link if you want them too =-)

After I took this picture it slipped out my hand and the gem came out the blue heart earrings DOH!

Bonjour Kitty!

My poor babies have had a terrible cold for well over a week now =-( the other two are getting over it now but Dylan is still pretty poorly and grumpy =-(

GLOSSYBOX

So my boyfriend gets a LOOT CRATE sent to him every month, which is a mystery box filled with novelty items, trinkets, tops and souvenirs from TV programmes, games, comics and films.  I get so jealous when he gets all excited to see what goodies he has that month, I said I wish I could get one that had beauty products in it instead and he said you probably can get a beauty one, so I came across GLOSSYBOX
I went on youtube and watched a lady opening her GLOSSYBOX, on the first item she pulled out of the box I was sold! So I've just subscribed, it cost me £102 for a years subscription, so a box each month and £39 for the years worth of delivery by Royal Mail, so in total it cost £141 =-| i'm hoping it will be worth it because that is a LOT of money!

If you wanna try it out yourself, here's the link, http://www.glossybox.co.uk/

I'll do a youtube video as soon as I get it to show anyone that's interested what came in the glossybox and post lots of pictures and information on here =-D

Has anyone else tried or subscribed to the glossybox?
